The day karma arrives for me is not a day I fear.

I am not here to tear anyone down, and I have never needed to. When people position themselves in my way, they usually dismantle their own footing long before I have to respond. I stay focused on forward movement rather than conflict.

Every decision I have made has been rooted in responsibility. Responsibility to my family, to myself, to the people who depend on me, showing up capable, consistent, and grounded. That alignment does not always look soft from the outside, but it has never been careless or malicious.

Have people been displaced along the way? Yes. I have applied my full skill set without dilution.

I have competed for scholarships, jobs, and opportunities without pretending the playing field was something other than what it was. Not to harm anyone, but because shrinking myself would have been the real betrayal.

There are moments when letting someone else win is the right choice. There are also moments when that instinct becomes self-erasure disguised as virtue. Learning the difference has been one of the most expensive lessons of my life.

Constant restraint teaches people the wrong lesson. It signals unlimited access and negotiable boundaries. Over time, silence gets mistaken for consent, and kindness becomes an invitation to be ignored.

I had to learn how to teach people how to treat me through consistency rather than confrontation. When respect cannot be established, I no longer argue, justify, or negotiate myself into smaller rooms. I disengage deliberately, without resentment, and without needing to be understood.

I do not fear karma because I do not move with malice. I move with intention, and I accept the outcomes that come with standing fully inside my values.

Where are you calling it kindness when it is really avoidance?
And what keeps repeating in your life because you refuse to stand in your full weight?
