Change
Change has a way of disrupting comfort while opening the door to something larger. That tension has been on my mind lately, especially as I get ready to start The Motivation Series. Before getting into what keeps us moving, this poem felt like the right place to begin, because sometimes change is the first push that reminds us we were never meant to stay the same. Constant
Change never waits.
It enters through broken plans,
through shifting ground,
through endings that do not announce
what they are making room for.
It unsettles.
It stretches.
It clears.
And somehow,
even with all it disturbs,
it keeps pulling life forward.
Because change is not only loss.
It is revelation.
A mirror.
A dividing line
between what was outgrown
and what is finally ready to begin.
It leaves ache behind,
but it also leaves truth.
Change is the only constant, and maybe that is why it keeps teaching us how to live.
