Welcome to my first newsletter—I'm glad you're here.
Let’s get straight to it.
Rebranding isn’t an ending—it’s a beginning. Growth demands letting go of what no longer serves you, and sometimes that includes the version of your brand that once felt “safe.” Small, intentional decisions can create disproportionate impact on your future.
Early in my career, I played it safe. I followed the direction. I said yes. And for a while, that worked—until I realized that approach would never reflect my true value or long-term potential.
I didn’t have a perfect plan, but I knew one thing had to change: I needed to start treating myself like a business.
So I made a deliberate shift. I went to business school. I studied leaders and high-performing companies. I strengthened my negotiation skills. I earned industry certifications through a major scholarship. Each decision was strategic. Each step compounded.
Today, I’m a graduate student working at one of the world’s Fortune 500 companies—where my education is supported, expectations are high, and excellence is the standard.
At the time, the decision felt bold. In hindsight, it was necessary.
I’m valued not only for where I am, but for where I’m going.
If this resonates, sit with this question this week:
What version of your brand are you ready to outgrow?
