Happy New Year again.

The Year of the Horse is here, and I walked into it thinking I was a Dragon, so I kept hearing that it was supposed to be a good year for me.

Then I found out I’m actually a Tiger lol.

And the funny part is, from what I’m hearing, it’s supposed to be a good year for Tigers too, so I guess I accidentally stayed on brand.

I do not follow the zodiac calendar to the heart. I only recently learned what it’s really about, and even now I treat it like a lens, not a rulebook.

But I still respect what it represents for people.

A reset and a fresh chance to move smarter.

Whether the calendar says you’re favored or not, the year is still going to do what it does.

Some people will win, and some people will take losses.

Quick break for my sponsors:

First one up, Acadia Learning 👇

Tutoring for parents who forgot algebra

You care deeply about your kid's education. But caring doesn't mean you remember how to factor polynomials.

Watching them look to you for help you can't give? That feels like failing them.

Acadia Learning gives families unlimited tutoring for $40/month:

  • Your kid gets help from someone who remembers

  • No more guilt about what you forgot

  • Being a great parent doesn't require 7th grade math

Already helping 10,000+ families who care deeply but can't remember everything.

Book your first session by the end of the month and get 50% off your first month.

Second one up, SuppCo 👇

Is your supplement stack actually working?

Most people have no idea what supplements they're taking. Download SuppCo to organize your routine, audit your nutrients, and see your StackScore. Then you'll know if your stack is helping or just expensive.

Let’s get you back to the post,

The difference is what you do with the loss.

When something does not go my way, I treat it like information because it is not identity.

I ask what it exposed, what it cost, and what it taught me that I would not have learned if everything stayed comfortable.

The difference between losing and wasting a loss is that one trains you and the other drains you.

So yes, if you’re a Tiger and you follow this stuff closely, I hope you take that “good year” energy and actually put it to work.

And if you don’t follow it at all, I still hope you move like someone who expects to improve.

Either way, I’m walking into this year with the same plan.

Adjust fast. Stay honest. Keep moving.

What are you taking into this year as fuel, and what are you leaving behind because it is too heavy to carry again?

A new series is coming soon. I am proud of the work I did in The Cost of Growth series.
If you have not checked out my series yet, it is on my Home page. Go check them out.
